MISSION TO AFRICA

Joanna Kelley, long time Crystal Cathedral church and staff member, recently said ‘yes’ when she sensed God calling her to Africa.

During her six month stay in Kenya, from April to October of 2007; she met with several Hour of Power viewers, ministered to those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, helped launch a students’ ministry, and was engaged in various community outreach projects.

She is here in the US working with Pastor Beverely Muffin and the Global Community as she prepares to lead a team of missionaries on a short term mission trip to Tanzania. From there she plans to return to Kenya as a career missionary.

WILL YOU BE A SHORT-TERM MISSIONARY?

As I return to Kenya, I will lead a mission team to Tanzania!
What will we do? Work with preschool children, help in the medical clinic, engage in small construction projects, do community outreach, and visit local schools and churches.
Who will we work with? Pastor William Makali and his wife Martha, friends of the Crystal Cathedral’s Early Birds
Sunday school class.
When will we go? We will leave on May 28, 2008.
When will we return? We will return on June 10, 2008.
How much will it cost? The cost to join this mission is
$1,000 plus airfare.
What if I can’t go? You can still be a part of this exciting mission by sending a missionary.
